The room suddenly grows dark for a minute, and it's almost as if the color disappears from the walls and bookshelves completely. A slight shudder moves through the group as the floors creak and moan, as if something was putting an incredible amount of pressure on it.

A wall to the side of them suddenly becomes almost liquid in consistency, and a hand reaches through it. Slowly a tall and lean figure wearing a long overcoat emergers from the wall, and the wall snaps back to its usual hard and unmoving stature.

The figure is shrowded in silence as he walks, his footseps loud and echoing through the castle and their ears. In his hand he holds a small orb which is squirming in his grasp; and he stops next to Gale, facing the others. A smirk crosses his face.

"Fools.. you've underestimated this man." The orb whines in protest at being held. "Your gross miscalculation will be the death of you all."

Cloud's eyes widen and he hesitates before regaining his footing after attempting to step back. His face grows determined and his smirk crosses his face again. "Rand. What are you doing here?"

A laugh comes from the ceilling and Legion drops down carrying a gagged Bianca. "Hee hee, you guys are so ****ed!" Legion bursts into a fit of laughter, amused by this entire situation.

Gale crosses his arms. "Did you really think I didn't have help? I'm afraid you fools have gravely underestimated my plan. Now, give me the key."

Lara rolls her eyes. "I don't know who the hell you are but I'm sure you can die too."

Cloud measures up the situation, thinking to himself: 'There is no possible way we could win this.' He notices Bianca and his expression grows furious. "You want the key? Take it from our dead hands, if you can manage to get them that way."

Ayn's eyes widen and she snarls maliciously. "Let Bianca go, she has nothing to do with this!"

Rand frowns, although he is clearly amused. "I see.. You want to go about this the difficult way. Very well." His footsteps remained deafening as he approaches Legion. He kneels in front of Bianca. "Have you ever seen one of these, Bianca?" He holds the squealing orb up for her to see. "Best enjoy the last second of free will you'll ever have.." He releases the orb, and it hits Bianca square in the forehead, disappearing into her.

Bianca screams, although the noise is muffled under the gag. She convulses violently, continuing to shriek repeatedly.

Rand nods at Legion, a signal for him to ungag Bianca.

Cloud looks at Rand and bainca, shocked and very confused. He tightens his grip on the dread buster and his eyes begin to become bloodshot and his pupils over taking any color of blue left in his eyes. "What are you doing to her you monster!? I'll kill you, I swear to God I'll kill you!" The sword begins to glow a very bright green, the cloth wrapped around it pulses red and he readies a strike.

Hallon aims his arrow at Legion and Rand, the tip glowing with holy light.

Legion takes no heed to Hallon's prepared strike and ungags Bianca. "Now the fun begins.."

Israfel becomes enranged. "Such demons shall not exist on this planet!" A sword of light appears in his hand.

*Kadino stalks around the group of angry fighting, looking for any sign that he would be needed*

What a foul place this is, I never should have helped the woman! Or perhaps it is my fault for asking for the other's help.

*Two blades are silently slid out of their sheathes, one mutedly glowing, the other leaving frost on the wall behind the large hanging tapestry*

Bianca wails loudly, although her scream isn't human. Her skin pales to the point of transparency and her eyes glow a bright red. She lays on the floor for a minute, writhing, before she struggles to her feet and stares directly at the group, snarling.

Rand nods at Bianca. "You know what to do."

Bianca leaps directly at Israfel, tearing at flesh with newly grown fingernails, all while snarling and screeching in an unhuman voice.

Ayn stares at her little sister, gaping. She lunges forward at Bianca and tries to pull her away.

Israfel snarls at Bianca and holds out his hand. Be gone de-ARGH!" He is interrupted by the teleportation of Legion who had appeared behind him and pierced the Angel with his claw.

Legion grins and his claw glows red, as does Israfel.

"What...what are you...!" Israfel screams in pain as he disappears in a flash of red light that is absorbed be Legion.

The Archdemon giggles, pulsing with newfound power. "Got it."

Rand seems amused. "Not putting up much of a fight, I see." He glances at Legion, his glowing eye fluctuating in brightness for a split second. "You will have your key momentarily, Onarav."

Bianca, meanwhile, has lost her primary target and in a confused state she darts around the room screeching loudly and clawing at whoever's closest. Ayn finally catches her and restrains her, trying to calm her down.

Clouds eyes water and his skin grows pale. He closes his eyes tightly and a black wing lifts from his left shoulder blade. His theeth become jagged and sharp. His voice changes. "I thought you said you didn't fight, Legion." The grip on his sword relaxes, the pulsing green stops but the red glow of the cloth stays strong.

"Synthetic demons..." Fury grimaces in disgust. He'd seen this trick too many times before, and experienced it himself. What was Rand even DOING here, anyway?! The rage that had been building within him finally boils over. He levels his rifle at Rand and opens fire, filling the room with muzzle flashes and the numbing rattle of gunfire.

What is that mind-numbing sound! I've never seen or heard any weapon like it before! I assume I'll have to be pitted up against the one who wields it. There seems to be no reason to attack from the shadows I guess. Plus I might as well let them know I'm here beforehand and declare which side I am on instead of drawing everyone against me when I attack.

*Kadino slips out from behind the hanging tapestry, trying to take in the opening fray*

I wonder how long they will take to notice my presence

Legion laughs. "I've broadened my horizons." Legion's hand glows and half of the key appears. He is about to throw it to Gale but sees that he is pre-occupied. So instead, he tosses it to Rand.

Gale scowls at the site of Rose and the blast of energy. "Behold the first cost of your betrayal!" Gale swings Sin and deflects the blast towards Bianca.

Hallon, who decides his attacks will do more against the demon than anyone else, fires his arrow at Legion, but frowns when the demon nimbly dodges. "I've destroyed demons before.."

Rand smirks as he watches the bullets approach him with blinding speed. With surprising agility he sidesteps, and the bullets rip through the bookcase behind him, destroying the literature held within. The same agility is used to snatch the flying key and examine it. "Fascinating.." He hands it to Gale after examining it a few minutes longer.

"NO!!" Ayn desperately tries to move herself and her sister out of the way of the blast, but it was coming too quickly and too suddenly. The momentum of impact tears the child out of her arms, and Ayn is thrown back to the wall, where she sits for a moment, dazed. She rubs her eyes and shakes her head, then stares blankly in front of her at Bianca. "Oh God.." Ayn crawls forward towards her little sister, scooping her up gently in her arms. "No, God.. Please.." She shakes Bianca gently. "Wake up.."

Gale takes the key from Rand. "I see the destruction of your own creations garners no sympathy from you."

Lara sees Ayn and Bianca and runs over to them. "Oh God..."

"Creations? No, they are what one would call 'fate'." Rand chortles at this. "'Fate' that I helped cause, however."

Ayn sits on the ground in silence while cradling her sister in her arms. She felt weak and her heart was pounding madly in her head as if to convince her this wasn't real. Her hands shake uncontrollably as it registers that it was over. "No..." She blinks back tears, her eyes burning with a newly found rage that focuses on Gale as she glares at him. "You.."

Rose stares. "Ayn...no...I didn't..." She backs up and looks from Ayn to Gale. Betrayl. If she had just stayed with Gale, this wouldn't have happened. Bianca wouldn't have died because of her. "No..."

"Creature of evil, how dare you strike down a defenseless innocent!" Riki screams. She lunges forward, giving Hayate a heartful glance that says it all as she does. Swinging Vengeance with energy built off of love, she slashes down at Gale's head.

Rikali squeezes in the room and wonders what to do next.

Gale is barely able to side-step to avoid Riki's sword, which splits the marble floor upon contact, as well as some of Gale's dirty blonde hair. "What a foolish notion to think you could match me." Gale sucker punches Riki in the stomach, and turns away. "I have more important tasks to accomplish other than kill you. Besides," Gale takes the second half of the Heaven key and forces it into Sin. "in a few short moments it will all be over." He turns and begins walking to put distance between himself and the highly hostile group.

Hallon continues firing arrows at Legion, growing annoyed. "Begone from this place you ghoul!"

Legion seems to enjoy Hallon's display. "Blah blah blah. Men of God are so bland."

Ranna is met with Ray of Light in a large metal clang. The blade itself seems to glow and cackle while it quivers in Rand's hand. "Foolish creation.. You use your free will unwisely.."

Ayn bites her lip, then glances at Lara. She holds Bianca close for a moment, then places her in Lara's arms. "Please take care of her.." She stands shakily, then unsheathes her sword, walking towards Gale with growing rage in each footstep.

Cloud notices everything around him, unable to control his body. The demon in him was in control, and it was only over powered by a greater ammount of hate than the demon itself had. He took no notice of the wounded or the others fighting. He moved his gaze to Gale and walked behind him. The red aura from his sword dimming. He speaks in a far different voice. "We never finished that battle, Abbis. Now with your weapon combined with those keys, do you think you can take me?"

"You cursed me with free will!" To break from the stalemate, Fury slides Ranna across Ray of Light, forcing it back, and changes direction to sideslash at Rand's stomach, below his sword.

Lara nods to Ayn and takes Bianca. "Send his ass down to hell, Ayn."

Legion notices Ayn advancing on Gale and frowns. "Another time, old timer." Legion manages to knock Hallon away and flips infront of Ayn. "The big girl being brave?"

Gale scoffs at Cloud. "Give me you best shot, just so you can know I defeated you at your best."

Rand's right eye glows brightly for an abrupt moment, and Ray of Light seems to move by itself, connecting with Ranna. Still gripping the hilt of Ray of Light, he thrusts forward, piercing Fury's chest with the seemingly posessed blade. He lets go, allowing the sword to hang heavily from Fury's body. The glow in Rand's eye returns suddenly, with an eager brightness, and Ray of Light loses its metal consistency, becoming a moving liquid. With a sickening sucking sound the now liquid-like sword enters Fury's body through the stabwound and disappears.

Ayn is not pleased by Legion's interference, and she sends a slice with her sword straight at his face.

Havoc lifts his eyebrow and grins. "You know Onarav, you do this and you die too. But I really have too much to live for currently. And so does my reign in this body." With that, he lifts the sword over his shoulder, taking off the red cloak he's always worn. He begins to speak and his voice changes to normal for a time. "And I don't think you'll be killing anyone anymore, Gale. Rest in peace." Cloud lunges foreward at amazing speed, sword extend horizontaly aiming for Gale's waist.

Fury freezes instantly and his eyes grow wide. He shudders in pain and falls to his knees when Rand releases Ray of Light. The horror of being stabbed is somehow multiplied when the sword liquifies and enters his chest. It felt as if someone had shot a hole through him and dumped icewater into his body. Almost immediately it was beginning to travel from his chest to his limbs, making him feel three times heavier. "Oh... God..." He drops onto all fours and sticks Ranna into the floor, trying desperately to support himself with it. With a precious amount of his fading strength, he looks up and Rand through winced eyes. "W-What... the hell... was that?..."

Gale twists the the side, but he is caught by it and snarls in pain. He then attempts to stab down on Cloud as he passes.

Ayn's sword is met by Legion's claw. "Tsk tsk. Cute."

Rand doesn't answer, instead he smirks and steps back, his arms folded across his thin frame. "Come home, Ray of Light."

With no further warning the 5 foot long blade reforms itself while inside Fury, the hilt bursting through the ribcage in Fury's back and the tip protrudes through Fury's front. It remains there, quivering and cackling in delight.

Ayn was about to attack Legion again but her attention is caught by the obvious bloodshed. "Holy ****.."

Gale is sent skidding across the library floor from the force of the kick and spits out blood as he rises. "I grow weary of this..."

Legion uses the distraction as an oppertunity to grab Ayn by the throat and toss her into a nearby bookcase. "Never take your eyes off the predator, lovely."

Havoc rips his sword from the marble floor, grining and motioning for him to come. "I thought you were the one who was to beat me, Abbis. Were you this weak when they killed your woman?"

Ray of Light squeals with glee as it slides out of Fury's body and returns to Rand. He takes a moment to clean it off, then reaches into a pocket on his overcoat.

Ayn crashes into bookcase which is bolted to the floor, and she sits there leaning against it for a few seconds. She jumps up and snarls at Legion, her sword beginning to glow white.

Gale snarls at Cloud and fires an orb of energy. Once it gets within feet of the swordsman, Gale turns Sin into a revolver and fires into the orb, causing it to explode in his face.

Legion morphs his hand into a large blade and slashes at Ayn as he rolls away from her sword. "Foolish girl."
